Create the right content for social media


Some businesses and organization sometimes find it a difficult to figure out how to run their social media campaign. These tips below will help you get a started.


Do not just sale. Tell a story.
All of your posts cannot be promotional. Most of them should provide value, not sell what you do. Before you share anything, ask yourself if it’s so good that people will re-share it to their followers.

Always add a graphic or video to your post. A picture is worth a thousand words. A picture catches attention and enhances your post and tells a better story than just words.

Repeat your posts
You should not assume that 
everyone you want to reach is viewing your social
media at the same time of day. Share your own post.

Stick to your message
Remember that your social media communication is official business communication, you are communicating with all kinds of people, so protect your online voice, its an asset.

When to post
Find a balance on when to post. if you post too frequently, you might over-saturate your fans and followers, and they might unfollow you. You should also know your audience and when is the best time of the day to post.

Social media is about sharing, share contents or post from third parties that have similar interest with you

Be consistent
Be consistent with your post, if you are posting everyday, twice a week, once a month, keep to it. Your audience will recognize your frequency of post without you stating it and they will look forward to it
