China to replace low income workers with robots

A robot revolution is about to take place in China as the government is planning on replacing low income workers with robots. The plan is to boost the Chinese economy which aims to double the per capital income by 2020.

At a robotic conference held recently, the first in China, many robots were put on show, most of them were service robots designed to serve a personal companions, automated cleaners, entertainment robots as well as industial robots for the manufacturing industries.
