There is no one-size-fits-all rule on the internet and how to use social media, when to post, frequency and duration of post. But there is a golden rule when it comes to how businesses and organizations manage their marketing strategy using social media.
That rule is for you to be your own social media boss. What this means is that you the business owner must have admin authority on all your platforms, your website login details, your social media accounts, google analytics and other platforms.
Some organization that hire a consultant make the mistake of leaving everything to the consultant, some don't even know their username and password.
Your consultant should set-up your accounts with your email address and not the consultant's email address, this way you know when your password is being changed. What happens when you cut business ties with your consultant and he is still in possession of your passwords, you are at his mercy!
Another scenario is to have an employee set-up your social media and website accounts then the employee has moved on to another company, maybe a competitor, that is not good news for you.
