Uber, Facebook partner on new Messenger feature

Social media giant Facebook is introducing a new feature to Messenger. With the feature, Transportation, you can get a car hire service without having to download an extra app or leave your conversation. 


When you chose Transportation after downloading the latest version of Messenger you can search for car hire service, receive update on the driver's status, request, track and pay for the service in Messenger. 

Facebook is stating with Uber as their first partner, This service is currently in testing and will be available to select users in the locations where Uber operates in the United States. More countries and other transportation partners will be available soon.
