How to make your android phone last longer

We all wish our android phones can last as long as we use all the apps we want to use, there is a disappointment when we see that battery remaining 10% notification. The following will help your android phone battery to last longer.

1. Black wallpaper can save battery
Black wallpaper can save your battery because AMOLED screens which most phones have only illuminate the colored pixels. Black pixels are unlit, so the more black pixels you have, or the more darker pixels, the less battery you need to light them up.

2. Your phone sleeps while you sleep

There are apps like Google Now on Tap that put your phone on hibernation when unused for a period of time.

3. Use dark themes and settings

Using dark themes and settings consumes less power thereby prolonging your battery life.

4. Don't use auto brightness

Auto brightness is brighter than you may need. Manually set low brightness level and then when needed increase the level.

5. Short screen timeout

set your screen timeout to 15 seconds instead of a minute.

6. Don't use vibrate

Use vibrate only when neccessary. It takes more power for your phone to vibrate than to ring.

7. Switch off data

We all want to stay connected at all times but when you notice your battery is going down and you don't really need to be online, switch off your data to save battery life.
