A manual describing ISIS cyber security practices has been released. It has been trending on twitter for some days now. The document was uncovered by the the US Military Combat Terrorism Center last year.
The document was written by a Kuwaiti security firm to help journalist and political dissidents living in Gaza to evade detection by Israel's cyber intelligence forces. ISIS hijacked the document and took it as their own and began to share it with members and new recruits.
On the blacklist of the terror group are applications and services like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Dropbox.
